What does EXE stand for?
EXE is an executable, runtime file. In the case of the game, Attack of the Mutant Artificial Trees, it is the runtime version of the game. The entire game is self-contained within the EXE file.
Does the game install anything on my computer?
The Attack of the Mutant Artificial Trees game DOES NOT install extra files on your computer. The only file required for the game is the file named "realtrees.exe"

When you click on a link to download the Attack of the Mutant Artificial Trees game from the Kewlbox Web site, the following dialogue box will appear.
Make sure the "Save this program to disk" box is checked. Click the "OK" button. The following dialogue box will appear.
We recommend that you click the "Save in" pop-down menu at the top of the screen and select "Desktop" and then click the "Save" button. This will put the game on your desktop. You can then move the file to any folder or drive on your computer.
What are "cookies?"

I can move the mouse but I can't select anything or fire. How do I fix this?
If the program is frozen you will need to press Ctrl-Alt-Del. This will bring up the Task Manager, which will give you a list of all of the programs that are currently running. If the program is frozen it will probably have the text "Not Responding" beside it. Click on this program to highlight it, then select End Task. After a couple of seconds, the program should close.
Why do I need to supply an email address?
An email address is required to download a game and to post your scores. We will not send you any communication via email unless you indicate that it is okay to do so.
What happens to my information I give during registration?
Neither Kewlbox nor National Christmas Tree Association will share or transfer this personal information to any third parties without your permission, although it may collect, sell, or publish demographic information and statistics in the aggregate. Why does it only show my top five scores?
The scoreboard is set up to show an individual player's top five scores so that more players can appear on the scoreboard.
Does the person with the highest score win anything?
Just bragging rights.
